Practical Experience with Real Impact

Our student placement program gives tertiary and vocational students supervised experience in person-centred disability support — in community, home and day-program settings.

Whether you are studying disability, community services, nursing, allied health or a related field, a placement with RiseUp Tasmania helps you connect classroom learning with everyday practice.

You will be matched with experienced mentors, introduced to NDIS practice standards, and supported to develop professional skills in a respectful, inclusive workplace.

Supervised Learning

Work under the guidance of qualified support workers and coordinators who understand student learning goals.
